Designed to give a precision response in deep going. Our longest stud – approx. length 25mm (excluding threaded section). Show jumpers love this stud to help with tight turns in a greasy outdoor ring. Take care: we do not recommend this stud for use on ponies, and would be cautious about using it on the inside due to the risk of striking the opposite leg – most users use a shorter stud on the inside in combination with this on the outside. SupaStuds are made from British steel that is subjected to a high tech hardening process which makes the whole stud, not just the tip, stronger and more hard-wearing than tungsten. This process gives the studs their blue/black appearance rendering them almost completely rust resistant. SupaStuds are not self-tapping studs.
